Update plugins and themes safely
Every update has a restore point, a check afterwards and an automatic rollback.
How an update runs
- 1A restore point of the plugin or theme is kept on the site.
- 2The update is installed; active plugins stay active.
- 3Sitecommand checks the front page and asks the connector itself. A site that broke is brought back and the old version restored: the result reads rolled back.
Where
Dashboard → Updates lists what is out of date and what has a known vulnerability, across every site. Update one, several or all.
Set a schedule per account: manual, security fixes only, or everything, in a weekly window. Exclude plugins you update by hand.
WordPress core can be updated from the dashboard too, after you confirm you have a backup. Core updates are not rolled back by themselves.
