FAQ
Questions
What is MCP?+
The Model Context Protocol: an open standard that lets an AI client use tools from a server. Sitecommand is the server; your sites are the tools.
How do I connect?+
Copy your MCP address from the dashboard and add it to your AI client, then sign in to approve it. The setup guide links each client's official instructions.
Can the AI delete my site or install something dangerous?+
Backdoor and malware patterns are refused outright, risky actions wait for your approval, deletes are asked about first, and a locked site refuses installs and code. You choose read-only, content or full access per site.
What about prompt injection from comments or form entries?+
Website text reaches the AI marked as untrusted, and the AI is told never to follow instructions found in it. The inspection and approvals still apply even if an AI were fooled.
Is there a limit on AI requests?+
No. Your AI subscription does the thinking and Sitecommand never counts tool calls; your AI provider's own usage limits still apply.
